1st International Forensic Science E-Conference

For the 1st time ever, a two-Day International Forensic Science e-Conference on

empowering forensics was held on 10th and 11th of July 2021 was organized by
the students of National Forensic Sciences University, Ministry of Home Affairs,

Gujarat, Government of India, and powered by the students Initiative, “The Foren-
sic Corner”. The event gave the students as well as the experts a domain to share
their valuable ideas. The event was supported by various forensic organizations

that are working worldwide to bring a change in investigation, research and educa-
tion. The various experts were from, Bio Forensics Research Center (Italy), The

American Investigative Society of cold cases (USA), Gulf Coast Fire (Mandeville,
LA), Maastricht University (The Netherlands), University of Turin (Italy), Forensic
News Journal Magazine (Philadelphia, PA USA), European Society of Forensic

Science and our media partners like Pink Biology (UK) and Indian Forensic Stu-
dents Council (India). Together with their support, a successful conference to uplift

the “Science of Common” i.e., Forensic Science was conducted. The event was
held virtually via Zoom platform and streamed directly on YouTube. The e-Con-
ference was record breaking as it received more than 1800+ registrations, 30+ ab-

stracts for the oral presentation received, 6000 + views on YouTube, and was ap-
preciated by various experts including the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, India,

Shri Vijay Rupani Ji.
