PROCESS & STUDIES
At Cicada, many of our works of visual communication
incorporate design process, iterations and transformations of
the built environment. Because design and environments are
never static, we often are asked to represent design schemes,
as well as natural and built environments, in different phases
of their development. Seasonal transformations, construction
phasing, design iterations and scheme options often enter our
repertoire, in both still image and animated formats.
Throughout the design process itself, the media we receive
can come in many formats, often with only notional detail.
We are adept at interpreting sketches, simplified plans,
preliminary massing models reference images and outline Elevated Walkway, Banff National Park, AB
documents from architects, designers and planners alike.
From this input we bring to life fully realized imagery of the Final Rendering from Conceptual Sketch
envisioned buildings, communities, spaces and environments.
