Stakeholder’s Participation in the Formulation of the Extension Agenda
One of the foundational elements of community extension programs and projects
was the involvement of stakeholders. Their input into the creation of the extension agenda
is crucial for developing a trustworthy, beneficial, and coordinated priority thrust of
extension services that will serve as the foundation for developing extension project
proposals.
Several representatives from the community's various sectors attended a meeting
to consult with stakeholders. A number of recommendations and solutions presented in
the body helped to reach agreement on creating the extension agenda and revising the
extension manual. The issues were thoroughly reviewed and decided based on the
government's declared priority push for sustainable development, the community's
current requirements, the resources on hand, and the likelihood that the goal could be
achieved.
