• Improve the process in acquiring body temperature through the device

that offer less contact thermal scanning using Arduino sensors and
actuators; and

• To determine the number of persons who passed the check point having

an automatic counter system.

Activities Undertaken

a. Gathering Requirements/Conceptualization

It was at the start of Pandemic when lockdown was implemented, classes were

suspended and even boarders were closely monitored in every municipality in order to
prevent virus infection and spread. Being an IT enthusiast, the faculty want to contribute

and help in managing and implementing border restrictions upon utilization of technology.

So, they come-up with conceptualizing a research project that knowledge and technology
can be shared to the community even in the time of pandemic. An online meeting was

conducted by the proponents.

The faculty conducted virtual meeting to conceptualize the project DisinfecTENT
