And Mobile Strategies
Looking for information? Yes, most people use
their cell phones to get information quickly,
especially, teens. Research reports that 95 % of
all US teens use cellphones to learn new
information, connect with others and to just
pass the time away. In addition, 95% of
Americans own and use cell phones (Pew
Research Center: June & August 2019).
This is great news for schools! It means that cell
phones are wonderful communication tools to
reach students, their care-takers, family
members, and friends.
In fact, it has been noted that 45.4% of U.S.
children (roughly 33 million) lived in wireless-
only households and they know nothing even
about a landline phone. Cell phones are used as
their only mean of communication. The
wireless-way of life is widely used by the young
and the poor. This trend is steadily rising (Pew
Research Center, 2013).

innovative and use mobile cellphone technology
