Mrs. Palmer (fl1905-1914) exhibited at the Royal Academy and Society of Miniatures between 1905 -1914, from Groley Place, Altrincham, Cheshire.
Her sitters included the Duchess of Westminster and the artist's daughter - the present portrait. This miniature is mentioned in Daphne Foskett Dictionary of Miniature Painters, Vol 1 p. 434.
