The Age of Fellowship

                                        and how Merlin’s Story Begins

In the time before King Uther observed the comet illuminating the sky, his father
was wrestling with a very peculiar problem. King Vortigern was building a fortress
but it repeatedly crumbled and crashed to the earth for no apparent reason. In his
determination to complete the construction, he consulted the architects and builders to
find a solution to this perplexing and expensive problem.

No solution could be found until a man stepped forward from out of the shadows and
advised the king he must sacrifice a fatherless son on the foundations in order to break

                 this curse.

The king sent out his soldiers to find such a boy, and one was found. His name was
Merlin but he was no ordinary boy; he knew exactly what the problem was and that
it was beyond the power of this king to resolve. For, deep below the foundations of his
fortress, was a vast lake inhabited by two large dragons. It was the battling of these
mighty dragons that shook the earth and destroyed the fortress. The white dragon was
in a life-struggle to defeat the red dragon, however, as the fortunes of men and history

would soon play out, the red dragon would ultimately be victorious. This meant a
future king was destined to be the one to complete the fortress.

Merlin’s wisdom was instrumental in saving his own life from sacrifice. He determined The Age of Fellowship Puzzle

to learn all the hidden secrets that he could; his curiosity was unbounded and his
magic and charm were his tools. His skills developed over the years and he was sought
by many powerful leaders to aid in the resolution of disputes and mysteries. The time What is the name of the king who was unable to build a fortress in the

exactly what the impending dragon-shaped comet could mean for the battling clans
of Britannia before they could find peace in unity. Multiple changes to the destiny of

the kingdom hung in the balance; would it bring War, Dark Magic and Treachery or T R O G V I N E R

Merlin knew he had to befriend the star child that the heavens had sent as their
fellowship could change the course of history.
