Mike Marckisotto is the founder and craftsman behind Pittsburgh Custom Wine Barrels Company. What first started
as a personal passion for wood-working quickly evolved into a full-time niche business just over 8 years ago. At Pittsburgh Custom Wine Barrels Co., Mike skillfully transforms reclaimed wine and whiskey barrels into handcrafted furniture and one-of-a-kind wine & whiskey related accessories. From smaller items such as clocks, cigar butlers and wine racks to full barrel wine cabinets and coffee tables, every piece Mike creates is made from the best authentic wine & whiskey barrels available.
All of Mike’s barrels are sourced from all over the country as well as local wineries & breweries. Aside from ready-to-purchase items that are already made, Mike also creates custom pieces that will bring each of his customers visions to life. Working closely with the customer to get everything just perfect down to the finish and hardware, each custom designed piece is carefully executed with every detail in mind. It’s important to Mike that the customer is not only purchasing a piece of furniture but something they can treasure for years to come in their home and enjoy!
