l SATURDAY, MAY 18, 2024: We start our day at A Day in Old New Castle, America’s Oldest Home & Garden Tour and an 18th Century Market Fair. Events available throughout the day include: Historical Reenactments, Colonial Craftsmen, Music & Performers, Food Trucks & so much more! As we continue our day, All aboard! on the Wilmington & Western Railroad, for old- fashioned family fun in Delaware’s historic Red Clay Valley. On October 19, 1872 the Wilmington & Western Railroad opened for service and in the early 1960’s became one of the first “heritage railroads” in the US. Have a seat and you’ll see the past as never before. History will come alive, senses will be excited, and a forgotten era will be re-lived (and you’ll have a little fun along the way)! Late-afternoon we start our trip home. A late night arrival home is expected.

This evening we will have dinner and a show at the Candlelight Theatre. MOON OVER BUFFALO is a madcap comedy that centers on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950’s playing Private Lives and Cyrano de Bergerac in rep in Buffalo, NY.
