From 60 days until one month before departure a $25 charge per person will be made plus any deposits for meals, lodging, and attractions made by McCarter Coach & Tour that cannot be recovered by McCarter Coach and Tour. There will be no refund on cancellations when made less than 29 days prior to the trip departure. It is assumed that all portions of the tour will be used by each individual. There can be no refunds for unused sightseeing or missed attractions and meals. All included items are listed at the end of each trip description. REFUNDS: ON ONE DAY TOURS:
Complete refunds will be made up to six weeks before the trip. From six weeks up to the day of the trip the following schedule applies.
• Up to six weeks prior to departure:
A complete refund.
• Six weeks to 2 weeks before trip:
Refund, less monies we cannot recover
(tickets, meals, attractions,etc.) • Less than 2 weeks: No refund.
CLOTHING:
The wise traveler travels light. Wear clothing suited to the climate of your destination. A light sweater may be a good idea for use on the air conditioned motor coach. An all-weather raincoat is an excellent choice on most trips, as well as comfortable walking shoes, bathing suit (many hotels have indoor pools.) And don’t forget your camera!
PERSONAL ITEMS:
Upon leaving the tour, it is your responsibility to check for all belongings. We will not be responsible for items left in the motor coach.
RESPONSIBILITY:
These tours are operated by McCarter Coach & Tour, a division of McCarter Transit, Inc., Beaver Falls, PA. McCarter Transit, Inc. is certified and bonded by the Interstate Commerce only as an agent for tour members in arranging room accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, admission and restaurants. McCarter Coach & Tour reserves the right in its sole discretion to make changes in itinerary and is not responsible to any person for expense, loss of time or money or other circumstances resulting from a change in itinerary or change of tour arrangements made by it for tour members. McCarter Coach and Tour reserves the right to decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of any tour at any time, and no further obligation will be assumed by McCarter Transit, Inc. We also reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, and in such cases all payments will be refunded without further obligation on our part. If a passenger leaves the tour at any time, all return fares and other expenses will be assumed by the passenger. An attempt will be made to secure return of monies for unused hotel rooms and missed meals for passengers leaving the tour.
INSURANCE:
You are fully insured on our motor coach as required by law. It is understood that the carrier assumes no liability for accidents, damage, losses or non-performance of service on the part of any establishment referred to in connection with the tour. Carrier’s responsibility is limited to the actual transportation services offered in connection with the tour.
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
Are available in any amount for any occasion. Give the special person in your life a treat that will ensure them a good time. A gift certificate from McCarter Coach & Tour is always the right size and color and may be exchanged for many happy memories.
