We stop midway through the day for lunch at the beautiful Keltic Lodge with another magnificent view. This morning a visit to Alexander Graham Bell Museum. Bell settled in this area because of its resemblance to Scotland. BLD
n WEDNESDAY, JULY 30, 2025: Leaving Baddeck, we travel to Caribou Point to board a ferry for a short ride to Prince Edward Island. The Micmac Indians called it Abegweit - “Land Cradled on the Waves.” This afternoon we will be spent touring the North Shore area, including the Green Gables House immortalized in Anne of Green Gables. Also, a tour of the only city on the island, Charlottetown. Overnight here at the Delta Prince Edward. B
n THURSDAY, JULY 31, 2025: This morning we’ll take the 9-mile Confederation Bridge over to New Brunswick, westernmost of the mainland Atlantic Provinces. Water bound on three sides; this province maintains a maritime status. This evening finds us in Bar Harbor, Maine at the Hampton Inn. It is called the boating capital of New England, this pretty little coastal town has many restaurants, souvenir shops, crafts, and antiques. B
n FRIDAY, AUGUST 1, 2025: Today we will travel thru Acadia National Park. Acadia National Park protects the beauty of the
highest rocky headlands along the Atlantic coastline of the United States, an abundance of habitats, and a rich cultural heritage. Next, we head to Cadillac Mountain. Cadillac Mountains summit is the highest point in Hancock County and the highest within 25 miles of the Atlantic shoreline of the North American continent between the Cape Breton Highlands, Nova Scotia, and peaks in Mexico. We will be staying overnight in Springfield, MA. MGM Springfield is a hotel and casino complex situated in the heart of Metro Center, Springfield, Massachusetts. Head straight for the casino or wait for that lucky feeling while you enjoy one of the other recreational opportunities or take a walk and explore the area and its beauty. B
n SATURDAY, AUGUST 2, 2025: Homeward bound today we can relive all of the wonderful things we have seen and done. Late-evening arrival home. BL
