Bailey Taylor
Performing: All Four Days at the Meeting House Stage
B eing the niece of Pittsburgh native and legend, B.E. Taylor, Bailey Taylor was introduced to music at a very young age and fell in love with performing because of him. Having told him right before he went to be with the Lord back in 2016 “I’m going to follow in your footsteps, and make you proud,” Bailey has been doing just that since that day. After graduating high school in 2018, she moved to Nashville to continue pursuing music. Since then, she has been writing and releasing her own music and performing in front of crowds ranging from a couple hundred people to thousands. With Country/Pop being her main genre, Bailey also has always had that “Taylor Christmas love” in her. She released her debut Christmas album, “Christmas Love,” in November of 2022. “I had the privilege of working on the entire record with Anthony Rankin, who played in the B.E. Taylor Christmas shows for many years; his wife, Kate Rankin; and B.E.’s son/my cousin, B.C. Taylor. I never got a chance to write with Uncle Bill, so getting to now write and work with B.C. and people he loved and admired is a really neat feeling. He would be really proud and excited
about this project.”
Bailey has been attending this Christmas
festival ever since she was a little girl to watch her uncle perform, and this is her sixth year performing here. “I always loved coming to watch my uncle perform at this festival, so to be able to stand on the same stage he did is a really bittersweet experience each year. I love fall and I LOVE Christmas, so combining the two makes me one happy girl.” She’s really looking forward to singing some of her favorite Christmas classics AND a few of her own from “Christmas Love” in the beautiful woods again this year, and hopes to get everyone in the Christmas spirit!
