but more importantly it commemorates Israel receiving the Torah through Moses at Mount Sinai.

periodic exhibitions highlighting Jewish trade and industry in Palestine, beginning with 1923 exhibition of "Produce of the Land". The 1932 Fair was 1st to be called the
"Levant Fair", & for it a symbol of a flying camel was used. This fair involved the partipation of other nations and put Tel Aviv for the first time in the forefront, leading her
mayor, Dizengoff to exclaim "Tel Aviv is the center of the world"; over 300,000 people attended.
