A Hundred Years Later
The Australian cavalry conquered the old train station in Zemach at noon
today, and not for the first time. A hundred years passed since the
important historic battle in which the Australians participated, they helped
in the war against the Turks who were in the land of Israel and against the
Germans. There aren’t many people in Israel who know this battle, but in
Australia (they) learn about it in every school. The Australians who
someone from their family participated in the battle a hundred years ago
are very excited, because after all, at the end of this battle the British
mandatory regime came to the land of Israel and a few years later rose the
state of Israel.
