When I told her that we are taking her on
11 vacation, I expected that she will be very
happy, but she didn't look so happy.
She started asking about her friends, what
"will be" with them when she won't be
able to see them, what will be with the
12 toys, and what will be with grandmother,
and more questions that didn't show
much enthusiasm.
In the days in which I was busy with
13 preparations for the trip, she'd disturb me
nonstop [without end].
I told her: "Yifat, sweetheart, I am
packing things for our trip, please don't
14 disturb", but she didn't stop taking out of
her closet clothes, toys, books and what
not.
After three days such as this, the
atmosphere in the house became tense
15 and angry, and in the end Yifat said: "I
don't want to go, I will stay alone at
home".
My husband and I were able to influence
16 her, but I am afraid that our vacation will
start on the wrong [left] foot.
I don't understand why instead of being
17 happy – she is aggravating me.
