Dialogue 8 – Shoshana & Hanan at Aroma Café
Hanan: Shoshie! How are you?
Shoshana: You know, everything is okay! How are you?
Shoshana: Excellent, but I want coffee now!
Shoshana: Yes, so do I. Waiter! Waiter!
Waiter: Yes, please.
Shoshana: My friend Hanan really wants coffee.
Hanan: If I don’t drink good coffee in the morning I’m not

nice!
Waiter: I understand. Which coffee do you want?
Hanan: Decaffeinated café au lait with the milk on the side,

please, hot, hot! Shoshie, which coffee do you drink?
Shoshana: I drink Americano.
Waiter: With milk on the side?
Shoshana: No, no! Without milk! I’m allergic to lactose.
Waiter: No problem. The coffee is on the way.
