For the Glory of the State of Israel
Like every year, in this year’s Independence Day ceremony too, successful
and special people will light torches, among them are singer Shlomo Artzy
and actors Ze’ev Revach and Leah Koenig. The one who’ll definitely light
a torch and speak in correct Hebrew with no mistakes is Avshalom Kor.
Other people who will light torches, but not everyone knows, is a fifteen
year old girl who developed a patent to not forget children in the car, and
an ultra-orthodox woman who works in hi-tech and wants to integrate
more ultra-orthodox women in the workplace. In the next few days all
these people will work very hard to remember everything they need to say,
without forgetting the “for the glory of the state of Israel.”
