A Teacher for Life
Every morning Iliya wakes up at five in order to get ready for an event,
only his event is not a wedding or a premiere, his event is his job. For over
twenty years Iliya is a physics teacher. Iliya’s classes are not like any class
you know, and all of the students know that if they want to study with Iliya
they need to meet (lit. stand in) his high standards. But what is more
important to Iliya than physics is that his students will be good people.
This week they invited him to participate in a flight course ceremony, after
ninety-one of his graduates wrote that he is the teacher that influenced him
the most.
