Helping Verbs & Adverbs Track 9
Helping Verbs + Infinitive
ׁ ֵשם ּפ ַעל+ ּ ָפ ֳע ֵלי ֵע ֶזר
Before we start learning an infinitive form of a certain verb group, let’s
first get acquainted with very useful helping verbs. These helping verbs
will help you to easily and quickly create sentences with new verbs in
the infinitive form.
As in English, it is impossible to use the infinitive form of the verb without
the preceding “helping” verbs.
For instance, you cannot say “I to eat soup now”.
The correct way is “I want to eat soup now”.
The helping verb "want" רֹו ֶצהalways comes in front of the infinitive form
of another verb. Let's first take a look at this verb in singular - male and
female.
Helping Verb "Want" - רֹו ֶצה
English Singular Fem. Singular Masc.
Want
רֹוצה רֹו ֶצה

And now let's see how the helping verbs are conjugated in the present tense

רֹוצֹות רֹוצים רֹוצה רֹו ֶצה
