Moving from Infinitive Form to Future Tense
?ְל ִה?In Binyan Nif’al we omit the infinitive form prefix , while
maintaining the sound pattern of the infinitive form:
...EE...A...E...
?ְל ִה?Instead of the we use prefixes corresponding to the pronouns. As
an example let’s use the verb to get in - ? ְל ִה ָכ ֵנס?. Follow the arrows to find
the prefixes used for each pronoun.
to get in - ?ְל ִה ָכ ֵנס?
?ְל ִה ָכ ֵנס ? ָכ ֵנס?
Pronoun ? ?ֲא ַנ ְׁחנּו ? ִנ? ? ִהיא ? ִת הּוא ? ִי?/?* ֲא ִני ? ֶא ַא ָתה?
Prefix
? ָּכ ֵנס?+?ִנ? ? ָּכ ֵנס?+?ִי? ? ָּכ ֵנס?+? ָּכ ֵנס ִת?+?ֶא?
Prefix ? ?ִנ ָּכ ֵנס?

As we add the corresponding suffixes, the ‘E’ sound disappears:
