Exercise: Act out the dialogue in Hebrew while looking at the English
text. Use other names than in the original dialogue when acting out.

Story: Dinner

Actor 1: Girls, come eat dinner.
Actor 2: I'm not hungry. I ate three hours ago.
Actor 3: Where did you eat?
Actor 2: I went to a friend of mine and we studied together. We studied

a lot, and after we finished studying, we went to a café and met
more friends (f). I ate cake and my friends ate spaghetti.
Actor 1: Cake is not food. You should eat dinner.
Actor 3: Dana, mom told you to come to dinner! Why aren't you coming?
Actor4: I didn't hear that mom told me to come. Here, I'm coming now.
Actor 1: Dana, how was your day?
Actor4: My day was very good: after school I met a friend (f) of mine. We
went to her house and listened to music together.
Actor 1: You listened to music? Didn't you study? I thought that you have
a test tomorrow…
Actor4:Yeah, we also studied. I studied with my friend and (then) I
studied a bit more by myself.
Actor 3: (You) studied a little? And you finished studying everything that
you need (to)?
