                                         Going Down to the Beach




             Dor: Hello, excuse me, what’s your name?


             Hila: My name is Hila.

             Dor: Hila. What a pretty name. You Israeli’s give such pretty names.


             Hila: Yes, My parents give all their children pretty names.

             Dor: I’m Dor and I’m from France.


             Hila: Ah, you’re a new “Oleh” (immigrant to Israel) from France?

             Dor: I don’t know if I’m a new “Oleh”, but I want to meet young

             Israeli’s.


             Hila: Ah, nice. Maybe you want to meet my friends this evening? We

             always go out on Thursday night together and sit in a small cafe in Jaffa.


             Dor: really? In Jaffa? I always hear about Jaffa from my friends. Is Jaffa

             pretty?


             Hila: Yes, Jaffa is very pretty. We sit until 10:00 PM and then go down

             to the beach.


             Dor: What fun! I’m coming!
