Exercise 7: In pairs, translate the situation into Hebrew row by row. Together, try
to think of a solution. Then present the situation and the solution in front of your
classmates.

1 Michal tells:
2 I am fourteen years old.

All of my friends in class and me have
3 Facebook.
4 I am a member of a youth movement.

In the movement I go out on many field
5 trips and meet many new kids.

After every field trip I have more and more
friends on Facebook, but in daily life I
6 don't even speak to them, maybe seldom by
chat.
Yesterday, I saw that I already have 400
7 friends on Facebook, but when I want to go
out at night I have no one to go with.
One friend babysits her younger brothers,
8 another friend has an afternoon class and
the third (one) doesn't feel like it.
This is a strange situation: on one hand I
9 know a lot of people, but eventually, when
I want to go out with friends I feel alone.
How could it be that I have 400 friends on
Facebook and (that) I am very popular, but
10 I don't have even one friend to meet with in
the evening?
What, friends are only on Facebook?
