Story - Where should we go out to in your birthday?
Mom: Anat, today is your birthday. Maybe we should [will] go out together?
Anat: Yes, why not? Where will we go out to?
Mom: Maybe we’ll go to a museum?
Anat: Mom, really, I won’t go to a museum. Maybe dad will go with you to a
museum, on your birthday.
Mom: Okay, so where will we go?
Anat: Maybe we’ll sit at the most expensive restaurant in Jerusalem?
Mom: At the most expensive restaurant in Jerusalem? And who will pay (for it)?
Anat: Hmm… good question. Okay, maybe we won’t sit in a restaurant.
Mom: So where will we go to?
Anat: Maybe we’ll go [down] to Eilat for 3 days?
Mom: How will I go [down] to Eilat for 3 days? I’m working tomorrow! And how
will you go to Eilat? You’re studying tomorrow!
Anat: What’s the problem? I won’t go to school, and you won’t go to work.
Mom: Anati, really. You know that (it’s) impossible to go to Eilat now. But in the
summer break you and your friends will go together, okay?
Anat: Okay. And now? Where will we go out to?
Mom: Hmm… maybe we’ll go to a movie?
Anat: I don’t know. I don’t like your and dad’s movies. Ah, I know!
Mom: What?
Anat: You and dad will go out together. You’ll go to a movie, [will] go to a
museum, [will] sit in a restaurant… take your [the] time. And I’ll stay home
alone and invite all of my class to a birthday party. What do you say?
