The Drama at Hadassah
The drama at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital started when six doctors from
the hemato-oncological ward resigned because they don’t agree with the
hospital manager. They say that he prefers admitting children who aren’t
from Israel because they pay more money, and that he also prefers to
operate on them in other wards. Since they resigned, there are doctors
substituting for them, but it’s not the same. Today the drama got up to the
Prime Minister and he decided to try and help and set a meeting between
the doctors and the Minister of Health Litsman. Both the sick children and
the employees at Hadassah hope that this drama will have a happy end.
