Traveling the Streets
Just like that, in the middle of the day, a common hippopotamus from the
Ramat Gan Safari decided to go out for a short stroll. No one stopped her,
so she just went out of the main gate, walked along the access road before
she headed back. “It was just outside for like ten minutes, walking in the
parking lot, and went back inside. It’s faster than my car, it would have
flipped me up in the air if it wanted to, but it seemed too tired for that.” At
the Safari (they’re) saying that they see this matter seriously, and soon
conclusions will be reached and lessons made of the instance. But the
hippopotamus really isn’t the only one who’s already left the Safari gates
spontaneously lately, a monkey and a few rhinoceroses who went on a spin
around town already did it before her. In the hippo’s case no one was
injured as well, neither humans nor animals. The hippopotamus returned to
her familiar territory where she lives with another twenty three of her kind,
who would probably be happy to hear (her) experiences.
