Please not that there is another possibility of producing the sounds
'O', 'OO', by using what we call the "stick / dot" combination.

ֹ‫ו‬The following combination (Kholam) coming after a letter (to

the left of it) produces the sound 'O' as in short.

The following combination (Shuruk) coming after a letter (to the

left of it) produces the sound 'OO' as in poor.

‫ּו אּו‬ ּ‫או‬ ּ‫ו‬ Letter and

And, to complete the current 'chunk' of vowels, note the additional
common option to produce the 'EE' sound.
