The Guru Who Organizes Your Home

An organization and cleanliness guru, believe it or not, but there is such a

profession and it turns out that it can even be very profitable. Meet Marie
Kondo, a young Japanese woman who in recent years became an

international phenomenon, all thanks to her methods of organizing your

home and the belief that order is a recipe for happiness. At first she used
to come to private people’s homes and turn them around, and quickly

became a dazzling success. Now she stars in a new Netflix show, where

she makes house calls with extra-messy people. Her method is simple:
collect all your things, whether they be clothes, books or electronics. Hold

them close to you and you’ll immediately know whether they make you

happy. If so, keep them and organize them in the closet in a visible way.
If they don’t make you happy, get rid of them – not before thanking them.

And this is probably the secret to Marie’s charm – without knowing hardly

any English, she’s managed to win over hearts worldwide, convince

people that order can bring happiness too.
