The Panda who Loves Snow

Washington DC is a city under siege right now, but at least there’s one
who has fun even in the worst storms. Tian Tian, Washington’s big zoo’s
mythological panda, woke up this morning to a white carpet of clean
snowflakes, which the eighteen year old panda took well advantage of, just
like a child missing a day at school. Tian Tian’s video got millions of
views in just a few hours, even imitations by fans. For this is the head of
the panda family in Washington, an international celebrity since ninety
seven, weighing a hundred and twenty kilograms, (who) became the most
popular attraction at the zoo. Along with his partner, panda Mei Xiang,
Tian Tian is a proud father to three year old Bao Bao. It seems that love
for snow runs in the family. When in the world only two thousand panda
bears remain, this is an endangered species, Tian Tian and his caregivers
hope that the video of him in the snow might be able to raise awareness for
panda bears around the world.
