Katsav is Released
Moshe Katsav returns to his home after five years and two weeks in
prison. He was released two years ahead of time when the parole board
decided to shorten his sentence. Many people waited for him outside the
prison, his brother and wife as well. At the same time, inside the prison, he
signed forms, met the prison warden for the last time and then came out.
Katsav won’t be able to leave (his) home at night time, and if he’ll want to
work, he won’t be allowed to come close to women. Almost nine years
ago Moshe Katsav went [into] jail because he didn’t agree to the plea
bargain. Today he’s released as a man who’s lost everything.
