                   ‫ הֹווה‬- ‫ ִב ְנ ָיין ִה ְת ַפ ֵעל‬:‫ִסיפּור‬

Hi, I am Chaim. I have a big problem.
I have a cousin, Avi, and he always does everything better than
me.
My mother says: “Chaim, why can’t you be like Avi?
Chaim, why can’t you make progress in your job? Avi is making
progress all the time and he is an office manager already.
Chaim, why can’t you call your mother sometimes? Avi calls his
mother every day.
Chaim, why don’t you want to get married? Avi is getting
married in a month.
Chaim, why can’t you dress a little more nicely? Avi always
dresses so elegantly.
Chaim, why do you always have to argue? Avi never argues
with his parents.”
So one day I tell Avi, “Avi, my mother is praying for a son like
Avi. What do I have to do to be you?”
And Avi says, “You are confused! You are a good son and I am
not.
My mother is always praying for a son like Chaim.”
