Rest in Peace Haim Gouri
Haim Gouri passes away at the age of ninety four. Gouri is a poet and
author who fights in Israel’s wars, and is able to put the collective Israeli
memory into his poems. He receives the Israel Prize, and many people see
him as an important part of Israeli culture. Many of Haim Gouri’s poems
are songs of war, but his friends tell that he is a man of peace. He leaves
behind a wife, three daughters, grandsons and granddaughters.
