A free morpheme is one that can stand alone with the
specific meaning.
Bound Morphemes
A bound morpheme is one that can not be stand alone with
the meaning. It always added to one or more morphemes to
form a meaningful word.
Ex: Replay, Cheaply, Shorten, unable, brighten etc.
Inflectional morpheme
Inflectional morpheme changes the form but not the word
class or the meaning of the word
Derivational morpheme
Derivational morpheme used to create new word. New word
with a ne w meaning
