14 | ST A GE 3 SHOWCASE EVENING
STAGE 3 SHOWCASE EVENING

In October, our two Stage 3 (Year 5/6)
teachers, Mrs Spohr and Mr Forbes and
their classes presented an exemplary
evening of music, dance, drama, artwork,
costume design, mask making and class
project work to highlight the opportunities
provided to students through either our
Discovery or our Performing Arts streams.
Every student’s work was on display and
throughout the showcase, the Performing
Arts students presented self-devised
vignettes or performed with their
instruments at various stage areas around
the Junior School. They also compered the
theatrical pieces, or were on hand in the
Discovery Class to describe the nature of
their exhibits first hand.
