‘Yamato Damashii’ which literally translates to the Japanese

Spirit refers to the heart which cares about others in their shoes, without any

hypocrisy. It is this spirit alone which has given Japan the strength to go on,

amidst the repeated tragedies that has befallen this Island nation, time to time

again. From the World War II to the violent Tsunamis, she has seen it all but

the commendable part is how beautifully she has bounced back too.

Fascinating, isn’t she?

I was lucky to experience this incredibly interesting country last year and I

sincerely hope that someday you will too. In the meanwhile, let’s take a look at

my journey.
