organized the Liberal Party Leadership race, held the
position of chief government Whip, then Minister for Small
and Medium Enterprises, to the Regulatory Streamlining and
Regional Economic Development. He has travelled his riding
up and down throughout the years, meeting and working
with the people.
In his speech to Huntingdon’s Liberal Party supporters, he
listed all the things he has accomplished in his years as a
Member of the National Assembly: road repairs, school
renovations, grants to municipalities as well as to
community organizations in order to bring local projects to
life… He is therefore very proud of all he has accomplished.
What is he most proud of? “To have been able to get people
to work together towards a common goal, without any
fighting. It’s not always easy, but we did it. ”

Mr. Billette has repeatedly said thatpolitics is not the e r i a t é i r p o r p
business of just one man. “It’s a team effort. That’s why it is
possible to achieve great things for the citizens,” he added,
thanking his associates who were there from the very
beginning, as well as those who joined his team over the
years. a c . a i d e m - a v i v
The man will take a little rest time. A big fan of cycling
and triathlon, he plans to return to training soon for the
2019 season. He also plans to spend more time with his
family. “I have two children that I did not really see growing
up, I want to enjoy that time with them,” he said. For the
