Live Music Returns!
ION Indie Magazine’s photojournalists are starting to
shoot live shows again…and what a great feeling to
be behind the lens and back in the pit! We have
Kiki Plesha coverage of several shows inside these pages, along
EDITOR-IN-CHIEF with some compelling reports and interviews. Check
it all out in this March/April 2022 edition!
In this issue, we are spotlighting the incredible blues
artist/musician Clay Melton! Tim Board conducted
the in-depth feature interview with Clay Melton inside
these pages.
We are welcoming 2 new photojournalists to the ION
family. Meryl Em is debuting in this issue as our new
correspondent covering the L.A. music scene. You
won’t want to miss Meryl’s dynamic photography
and report on System of a Down and Korn! Also, a
former member of the ION family has returned to the
fold. Michael Rushton will be bringing our readers his
incredible live concert photography in an upcoming
issue of ION Indie Magazine. Michael will be covering
the Milwaukee and Chicago areas. Glad to have
you back, Michael!
