Ryan likes to be by himself when he’s working on a track, describing himself as a “mad
scientist” of sorts. “I’ll take an idea I have and orchestrate the whole song, tying it all
together. Putting everything together is my favorite part. In an EDM show everything
is intentional…even the visuals behind the DJ on stage,” Famba said.

Famba has had many great successes since his first break-out hit, “Vibe,” featuring
Frank Pierce, rose to the top of the Canadian charts in 2017. His first full album “Not
Giving Up” was released in 2018. This was followed by the single “Swear to God” in
2019 and album “Wishes Volume 1” in 2020. Multiple tracks have made it to the Top 15
on Canada’s Top 40 chart.

Famba was excited for his first show in the United States. He was going to open for
The Chainsmokers in Miami, FL. The show slated for the Spring of 2020 was cancelled
due to the pandemic, but Ryan remains hopeful. “My first single from my new EP
entitled ‘Wishes Vol. 2’ just dropped. It’s called ‘Still Call You Mine.’”

Ryan described this EP as a fusion of pop music and house with all the tracks being
“upbeat and uplifting.” “I really wanted to fuse two different worlds,” Famba told ION.
After listening to the track, ION agrees that Famba has found the perfect fusion of two
worlds…into one harmonious melody. Listeners can anticipate the drop of another
single or two before the full EP release of “Wishes Vol. 2” sometime in (mid-late)
Summer 2021.
