This evening, I came to work with country band Midland. But instead, I fell in love with opening act,
Iowa sweetheart and up-and-coming country artist, Hailey Whitters.
This Nashville-by-way-of-Iowa-corn star rode into AVA Amphitheater riding the wave of success from
her album “The Dream.” Not only was she talented and exceptionally entertaining, but she is also
incredibly beautiful. Vibrant and flirty on stage, she talked in between her songs about boys, beer…and
corn. Even her skirt had two ears of corn sewn onto it! At every show, I tend to take a selfie in the photo
pit with the artist performing behind me. Not this time, I took my selfie and Hailey got in the picture right
behind me…smiles and all.
