TB: You also host the radio show The ReddZone. As a radio show host
what advice would you give to artists trying to get their music out there
            and heard?

NR: Invest…invest…invest! Don’t think because you are recording in ‘Pookie’s
basement’ that the song will instantly go viral. The saying ‘It takes money to
make money’ holds true! A radio host and radio station music program director
can tell in the first 5 to 10 seconds of a song whether or not he/she will be will
adding that song to rotation. If the song isn’t mixed well, it will not get played.
Make the song relatable. If it resonates with one or more persons, those
people will refer it to others, thus creating a domino effect. More importantly,
if you are trying to get in this business solely based on money you feel you will
make, then the entertainment industry is not for you.

TB: Where can people listen to the show?

NR: The ReddZone is a streaming radio show which can be heard on
Peachtree Radio FM; Legend 107 Radio, RawSoul Radio Live, and Soul City
Radio. It can also be heard weekdays at 12 noon ET on Cruz Inc., Radio
102.8. You can go to my website www.iamnatalieredd.com. Click on The

TB: What does the rest of 2023 hold for Natalie Redd? Any new music or
shows coming up in the second half of the year?

NR: New love. New house. New music (I am teaming up with other national
independent recording artists). More shows in the DC/MD/VA area and along
the east coast. Just branching out and trying new things. Thinking about
getting my law degree as an entertainment attorney (currently I am a
paralegal). May even take a stab at acting.

                                                   ***

Natalie has a lot going on…a radio show, new music, and possibly going back
to school. Whatever she does for the rest of 2023 and beyond, I have no doubt
she will be a success. You can follow Natalie on social media and be sure to
also check her website out to keep up to date on what she is doing.
