I ended up chatting to one of the members and he filled me in on their group,
The Sun City Brass Band.

The Sun City Brass Band’s members are stationed in Ft. Bliss, Texas, 1st
Armored Division (Old Ironside). I felt a camaraderie between us as I, once
upon a time, served with the 2nd Armored Division FWD (Hell On Wheels).
We talked military and we talked music. Some of the members have been
in service for 10 months and some have been in for 13 years. In short, they
were all amazingly talented musicians and soldiers. Although, they mostly
performed popular music of other artists utilizing their brass instruments, I
was able to recognize most of their songs. The first song resonated strongly
to me as they started their show with Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing
In The Name Of.” It sounded so good that if I didn’t know it was another
artist’s song, I would think it was an original. Throughout their show, the
band delivered a super tight and entertaining performance.
