When you get to watch an artist perform that you enjoy, there is a certain kind of
awe and amazement. When you also get the opportunity to photograph and
interview the artist, the experience is unexplainable. It’s even more exciting when
the artist is someone you personally know and admire. There are feelings of
excitement and awe, which became so much more vivid when I was given the
opportunity to photograph and interview Mike Scully.

Mike Scully recently signed to Houston’s country music label Sotex Records, Inc.
He is also known for attaining the honor in 2019 of “Best Male Artist” in Ventura
County, CA. Tonight, he captivated music fans at The Canyon with a moving and
memorable performance. The way he commanded the audience, holding them
spellbound, was nothing short of magical to witness. The songs he performed had
purpose and they spoke about real life experiences. I could feel what he was
singing. To see and hear the audience singing along, completely immersed in the
essence of this up-and-coming miracle, truly had me feeling emotional.

Here is my interview with this inspirational man, who shared his insights and his
experiences during his mini tour, which took him from Los Angeles to New
Orleans. I hope you enjoy reading the interview as much as I enjoyed conducting
