“God Forbid We Pray”

Norco California, a town about 20 miles west of Riverside California with a population
of just over 26,000 according to 2020 census figures, is known as “Horsetown USA”
and has one of the largest network of horse trails in the United States, per the city’s
website. Someday, the city may want to add the fact that it’s the hometown of Presley
Tennant. Presley grew up in Norco, dreamed of a future playing soccer, but changed
paths and is now a talented up-and-coming country singer songwriter. Presley made
it on to the NBC television show “The Voice,” working with her idol Kelly Clarkson.
Since that time, Presley has released several singles and in November of 2022,
released her debut EP “600 Miles.” Presley was kind enough to take some time and
answer some questions about her music and her beginnings for this feature interview
for ION Indie Magazine’s March/April 2023 issue.
