Finally! I was so ecstatic knowing that I was
given this incredible opportunity to work with
two iconic artists…Chaka Khan and Sheila
E. at AVA Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ). In
1985, I was able to see Grandmaster Melle
Mel and the Furious Five while I was
stationed in Northern Germany. He sang
the rap backups for Chaka’s version of
Prince’s “I Feel For You.” Now, 37 years
later, I get to photograph Chaka Khan!
