to change up our plans and do some vocal tracking. Imagine that? What do they expect when their business is
next to a recording studio.

BL: How long has Brian “Victimeyez” been with the band?

JW: He joined, I think, in 2011. He’s the 2nd drummer and was in the band maybe a year before I auditioned
and joined. He’s a pretty amazing drummer. When we were recording “Time & the Hourglass,” he was having
trouble with this one song. He was missing parts he shouldn’t, coming in early at certain spots and at one point
said, “F*** this, turn off the music and just give me a click!” Literally finished that song in one take after that.
He and I write really well together from when I was on bass and having to be in sync with each other. We both
kind of know where the other is going without really having to communicate too much mid-song.

BL: The name of the band…who came up with it and why?

JW: Stayne Thee Angel came from Darren and the original guitarist, Jasper Judge, way back in 2011 as a literary
reference to Alice In Wonderland. The Jack of Hearts is named Stayne, so in his mind, he's seeking out a true
love, his angel -- Stayne's angel. Just a fun play on words after that.

BL: If there was one band that you could go on the road with, who would it be?

JW: Hmmm...good question! I think we could fit in with any band. We've opened up for some great bands in the
past. Man, we could probably open up for a country band. (we both laugh)

BL: Is the band ready to do that -- go out maybe for a Florida or mini Northeast tour for 30 days or so? Y'all
have families and full-time jobs.

JW: If the right opportunity showed up, I think we could do it!

BL: Okay, Justin, was great chatting with you. Where can the band’s music be found?

JW: Almost anywhere online and our website. Just not on Pandora.

BL: Pandora? They still in business? (we both laugh again)

JW: Yeah, I think so. But Spotify is definitely killing them!
