L.A. Guns were up first. I was thinking they would play for

around 45 minutes, but they actually went just over an
hour -- I guess making it an unofficial co-headlining set.
L.A. Guns is guitarist Tracii Guns and lead singer Phil

Lewis at the forefront, with Ace Von Johnson (rhythm
guitar, backing vocals), Johnny Martin (bass, backing
vocals), and Shawn Duncan (drums). L.A. Guns opened

with “Cannonball,” one of my L.A. Guns’ favorites. Even
from the photo pit, I felt the energy from the band and the
audience. This was followed by “Electric Gypsy” and from

the movie Point Break sound track, “Over the Edge.”
