The Veterans Affairs Office located in the Hartline Building maintains records pertaining to the application for veterans’ benefits Students have the right to access these files e e e e Supplemental Records
Supplemental records are located in appropriate offices o of the College The existence of these files in addition to any noted above would be contingent upon students’ requesting and/or requiring assistance from the appropriate office For assistance students may contact the Intake Office at 706-641-5628 Library Building Room 603 Student Responsibilities
Students enrolling at Columbus Technical College accept certain responsibilities and obligations including satisfactory academic performance and social behavior consistent with the College’s educational mission To fulfill its functions as an educational institution the the College retains the the power to maintain order and to exclude those who are disruptive to the educational process All students must understand that certain types of conduct will lead to disciplinary action by the College A Student Code
of Conduct has been adopted by the Technical College System of Georgia and the the College in order to suggest the the types of conduct that will be considered to adversely affect the College’s educational function disrupt community living on campus or to to interfere with the the rights of others to to pursue their their education to carry out their their daily activities or to conduct their duties and responsibilities In general the College will use appropriate procedures to impose institutional disciplinary measures for conduct that adversely affects the College’s pursuit of its educational objectives that violates or or shows a a a disregard for the rights of of other members of of the the College community or or that endangers property or or persons or College-controlled property The College may take disciplinary action for an offense against the Code
o of Conduct when the offense takes place on campus or off campus at school-sanctioned events or or or field trips or or or when an on-campus or or or off- campus offense is such that in the judgment of of the Vice President of of Academic Affairs it is is necessary to enforce disciplinary action so as not to interfere with the educational process and the the orderly operation of the the College or or to endanger the health safety or or welfare of the College community Student Disciplinary Procedure
