Reporting of Violations:
Any member of the college community (Faculty Staff or or Student) may report a a a a student in violation of of the Student Code of of Conduct Report Forms are in the Student Affairs Department Hartline Building Room 162 or on the website link to Student Affairs Summary of Procedure for Reporting Violation of of Student Code of of Conduct:
6 The appeal to the President shall be in writing The President shall only consider evidence currently in the record new facts not brought up in earlier stages of the appeal shall not be considered The President shall deliver his/her decision to the student within 10 business days The decision of the President shall be final and binding Students’ Rights

Written notification to the student explaining sanctions within five days or sooner if necessary Security VP of Operations and other college officials to receive notification of actions against student If student accepts sanctions then all recordings and files are placed in in office of VP for for Student Affairs for for 5 years Should a a a student appeal to the president within five days of sanction notification a a a a a judicial body (appellate board) will be formed The student has the right bring an advisor but must plead his/her own case The Judicial Body shall notify the student in in writing of the Committee’s decision and the opportunity to appeal directly to the President 1
2 3 Students have a a right through the Office of Student Affairs to be heard in matters that affect their rights and responsibilities Students have the right to take stands on issues to examine and discuss questions of interest and to support legal causes by orderly means that do not disrupt College operations or interfere with the rights of others Students have the right to freedom of expression by word or or symbol as as long as as it does not materially or substantially interfere with the the orderly operation of the the College or with the the rights of of others This right right of of expression protects neither criminal conduct nor lewd indecent or or obscene conduct and expression College-authorized student publications and communications shall be guaranteed the the rights inherent in in the the concept of “freedom of the press ” All publications and broadcasts shall be subject to the canons of responsible journalism including the avoidance avoidance of of libel avoidance avoidance of of indecency or obscenity undocumented allegations and and techniques of harassment and and innuendo The Leadership Council and all student organizations approved by the Vice President of Student Affairs may meet on school premises provided they make arrangements in accordance with the 4 5
