Finisher Lesson 1: Mission Statement (Parts 1-5)
                                                         Classroom

                Introduction Story:
Use the analogy of a GPS as a metaphor for your mission statement. In order for a GPS to function
properly it must calculate your current position and then you must tell it you desired final destination. If
either of these data points is missing, or incomplete, it is essentially impossible for the GPS to calculate a
route for you to follow. The same is true with your mission statement. Let’s determine where we are to
start, and then identify where we desire to travel to as we go on this journey.

                Introduction:

We will begin the Finisher Program by looking at Mission Statement Parts 1 -5. In these lessons we cover
the following areas of your life:
                       • What is a Mission Statement? Getting your bearings. Where are you now and where do you
                          want to get to?
                       • People of Influence. What inspires you?
                       • Family Values. What role do you play in your family?
                       • Finances and Work Life. Can you more effectively manage your vocation and your finances?
                       • State of Mind. Does spirituality play a significant role in your life?
