Welcome To My Harmonica Method

I’m really glad you’ve chosen to study harmonica with me. When I first started
playing this funny little instrument, I didn’t know that I’d be a professional
musician one day. I was just following my passion after being seduced by the
Blues sound of Muddy Waters and Little Walter, and 70s rock, such as The
Doors. Plus, I really liked the idea of having an instrument I could carry
            everywhere!

I bought my first harmonica when I was 15 years old. I started practicing and I
can still remember how amazing it felt to be immersed in that brand-new
world. Slowly, I learnt a few simple songs, before graduating onto more
advanced techniques. It wasn’t easy back then – at the time, there was no
internet and very few harmonica players. But I eventually found my way. And
if I can do it, so can you.

I’m not especially gifted, I just spent a lot of time practicing because I was so

passionate about the music – and that’s what’s really different about my
Harmonica Method. It’s based not just on techniques and skills, but on
creating a passion, and it is this passion that will motivate you.

My Method is a step-by-step process, focusing on having fun and practicing
the right things in the right way. The result of 20 years’ experience in learning,
playing and teaching, you will learn fast because I now know some great

ways to make your practice sessions feel easy, and exactly the steps you
have to follow to become a great harmonica player. Best of all, you won't
have to push yourself to learn because you’ll be excited to play.

That’s really the centre of this method – sharing my passion and helping you
through any difficulties. I have learned a lot during the past five years,
teaching hundreds of students at The London Harmonica School. I know
exactly when you will need advice on something specific and you’ll find it
here. It really is as close as can get to having a private teacher. So, follow

            me...
